Having immigrated from Vietnam after the war, they endured preventable pain due to the lack of adequate care and the challenges of obtaining equitable treatment.
This inspired a passion for equity and intersectional community service as Kathy strongly believes in creating change to close the gap on the ongoing issues of systemic barriers, whether socioeconomic, cultural or environmental.
